Chakra Healing and Balancing - What Chakra type are you? - The Chakra Test -
Now that we know what all the chakra personality types are, we need try to determine what our dominant chakra or chakras are (yes, you
can be dominant in more than one type).
There are several ways to find your type. There are personality profiles that help you to decide but personally I think it's very easy to
answer the questions according to the type you want to be rather than what you are. I feel there are three main methods that work fairly
well for finding your type and your blockages. Use the tests you feel most comfortable with but you may have to use at least two methods and compare your results with hopes that
you will get consensus.
Part One: Your Type
- Print off the Chakra personality description , give it to
at least two people (three would be better), a friend and a significant other would be ideal. Ask them to truthfully give you their opinion of your chakra type or
types. If you get agreement from both, this is excellent feedback and probably accurate. You can go to Part Two or confirm your findings
with the following test.
- One of the best ways of determining your chakra type is to "ask yourself". We can delve into our subconscious and sometimes
find the truth. Cut out a circle of poster board about about 12 inches in diameter and create a diagram similar to the one pictured below.
This method requires that you find a quiet place in
which you can concentrate over the chakra wheel and interrogate your subconscious.
Sit quietly in a comfortable position on the floor or in front of a low table.
Hold a pendulum over the center of the
wheel and begin to ask questions (You may have to place your elbow on the table so you can relax and hold the pendulum loosely).
You can simply say, "What is my dominant chakra?". Sit quietly and wait. The pendulum should begin to swing
back on forth between the same set of numbers on both sides of wheel. If it doesn't move or it swings around in a circle, you may have more than one
dominant chakra. Ask, "how many chakras are dominant?" Wait for the answer and when the pendulum swings between two sides of board on the
same number, then that is your answer. You can then ask questions like, "Which is the first dominant chakra?", and so on. You can also ask,
"Is the root chakra dominant?", "Is the sacral chakra dominant?". Wait an interval after each question to see if you get a response.
Part Two: Your Blockages
Now that you have determined what your chakra type is, you will need to discover how healthy all of your chakras are:
-
Using the chakra wheel method above, you will go through each of the chakra centers, asking "What is the first chakra with a blockage?".
When you get the answer, let's say it is the 1st, root chakra, then you will say "How many blockages are there in the 1st chakra?". Write
down your answer. Continue with this line of questioning until you have gone through all of the chakras or get no more answers.
-
You can use another method to check your results. Get someone to help you perform this standard kinesiology test. Stand up and hold your
dominant arm out to the side.
Starting with
your Crown chakra, hold your other hand on the chakra point and have your partner try to push your extended arm down toward you body. Go through
each of the chakra points with your partner noting the difference in pressure that it takes to push your arm down. Repeat the process, cycling
through all of the chakras at least three or four times. A pattern will develop and it will become easy to find the blocked chakras. If it takes a great deal of pressure
(relatively) for your partner to push down your arm, then this is a dominant chakra with little or no blockages or a very healthy and well
balanced chakra. If it takes very little pressure from your partner to push down your arm, then this is a chakra center with many blockages
and in need of a lot of work. Compare your findings with your notes from the previous tests and you should be able to map your dominant
chakras and those that need work. The chakra centers for the kinesiology tests are as follows:
- 7th Crown - Top of head
- 6th Forehead - Between the eyes
- 5th Throat - Below the larynx
- 5th Heart - Between the breasts
- 3rd Navel - Slightly above the belly button
- 2nd Sacral - Between the belly button and the pubis
- 1st Root - On the buttocks at the tail bone
Now that your know your chakra type and where your blockages are, you are ready for the next step, .
